Install BullFrog Assistant for iOS Certificate Signing

Requirements:

  • Enable Developer Mode on your iOS device.
  • You’ll need a computer running Windows 10 or later, or macOS.
  • Have a Lightning or USB Type-C cable to connect your iPhone to the computer.
  • Download and install the latest version of iTunes directly from Apple.
  • Make sure iTunes is installed correctly and your iPhone is connected to it via USB.

Step 1: Download and Install BullFrog Assistant

  • Visit the Website: Go to ios222.com and download the version that matches your computer’s operating system.
  • Download the Installer: Click any of the yellow download buttons (labeled in Chinese) to download the “BAInstaller.exe” file (See the screenshot).

  • Connect Your iPhone: Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
  • Temporarily Disable Security:
    • Windows: Search for “Windows Security,” go to “Virus & Threat Protection” -> “Manage Settings,” and turn off “Real-time protection” (remember to turn it back on later).
  • Run the Installer: Click the “BAInstaller.exe” file to open the BullFrog Assistant software. If you see a UDID and “device connected” message, click “Install” to begin.
  • Verify Installation: Once BullFrog Assistant displays “Success,” disconnect your iPhone and check if the “BullFrog Assistant” app is installed. If you see it, you’ve successfully installed BullFrog Assistant.

Step 2: Add and Verify the VPN Profile

  • Download VPN Profile: Open BullFrog Assistant (the green frog icon) and click the blue Chinese text (as shown in the screenshot) to download the VPN profile.
  • Install Profile: When prompted by your browser, tap “Allow” -> “Install” to download and install the BullFrog Assistant VPN profile on your iPhone. This profile will be activated when you install IPA files to sign certificates.
  • Locate Profile: Go to Settings -> General -> VPN & Device Management, find the “Downloaded Profile” with Chinese text, and tap “Install.”
  • Connect to VPN: After installation, return to the BullFrog Assistant app and select “Allow” to establish the VPN connection.

How to Install IPA Files on iPhone using BullFrog Assistant

Requirements: Connect to Wi-Fi and use the BullFrog Assistant VPN (Settings -> VPN, check BullFrogAssistant and Connect).

Step 1: Connect VPN and Sign in with Apple ID

  1. Change Language (Optional): You can change the app’s language to English if it’s currently in Chinese. To do this, tap “Me” (the account icon), then tap the globe icon (Language), select English, and tap “Verify.”
  2. Go to IPA Signature: Tap “IPA Signature,” then switch to the “Certificate” tab.
  3. Add Certificate: Tap the plus sign (+) in the upper right corner and select “Personal Certificate” to sign in with your Apple ID.

Step 2: Sign the IPA file

After you have successfully logged in to your Apple ID, follow these steps to sign the IPA file:

  1. Ensure the BullFrogAssistant VPN is connected.
  2. Go back to the original screen and click on “IPA Signature”.
  3. Click on the plus sign (+) in the upper right corner.
  4. Select “Import” and find your IPA file.
  5. Once you have selected the IPA file, click on “Sign App”.
  6. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to sign the IPA file. Click on “Sign Now”.
  7. The IPA file will be signed and you will be able to install it on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 3: Install IPA File

  1. Install IPA: Reopen BullFrog Assistant and tap the IPA file you signed earlier. To install the IPA directly onto your iOS device, tap the first line (VPN & Wi-Fi) and wait for the installation process to complete.
  2. Open App: You can now open the newly installed app from your home screen and start using it.

Important Note: Each IPA app installed using BullFrog Assistant has a 7-day certificate. When it’s about to expire, open BullFrog Assistant, go to “IPA Signature” -> “Application,” select the last tab, and tap the app to renew its certificate.
